Sadipur is a beautiful village in the district town of Siwan, PO&PS Goreakothi, Bihar. The population of the village is approx ten thousand. Agriculture is the main occupation for the people who leave in the village. The soil is fertile and good to cultivate many different types of crops, vegetables and fruits; people mostly grow common cereals like rice, wheat and maize. Like many villages in India, this village has all the resources to grow and prosper. But a drive is missing. There are opportunities on various fronts to make this village a model village, but a drive and sense of responsibility is missing. The objective to create a homepage for Sadipur, is to bring some awareness to the people who have grown in the soil of Sadipur and set a platform to collaborate their efforts for the social economic development of Sadipur. On Jan 26, 2009 a small step was been taken to offer free basic informal
education to the poor children. Shri Ram Prasad has volunteered to teach poor
students in the village. The response is good. The learning’s in this effort
will be shared at this forum. Shri Ram Prasad has been teaching for last two years to students and shared his experience. This has been more of a proof of concept that an individual with dedication can make a difference. On Feb 28, 2011, a dream came true when Maharani Devi Shishu Vidya Mandir was formally inaugurated. The school is run by Vidya Bharati which is a prestigious institution in the field of education in India.
